Sealer Repair Fluid for removing whiteness on Imprinted Concrete and Block Paved Surfaces
If the solvent based imprinted concrete or block paving sealers have been applied in conditions when the surface is damp this can lead to problems. Surface whiteness is the most common issue and appears over time if the sealer has been applied when the surface is damp.
Smartseal sealer repair fluid should be used when problems like patchy whiteness have appeared on the surface of existing imprinted concrete or block paved driveways and patios. Surface whiteness, peeling or flaking sealer are common issues that are easily corrected using sealer repair fluid.
Smartseal Sealer Repair Fluid will restore existing imprinted concrete sealer or block paving sealer and clear surface whiteness from imprinted concrete and block paved surfaces.

Sealer repair fluid is a product designed to repair incorrectly applied sealer which is lifting or sealer which has reacted with moisture during the drying process. For imprinted concrete it should be liberally applied to the affected area, left for a couple of minutes and then worked into the surface vigorously with a soft broom until the sealer goes "tacky" under your broom. This will show you have 'softened' the sealer and you then allow it to re-bond to the concrete by leaving it.
For removal of surface whiteness on block paving repeat as instructions above, but with block paving be careful not to disturb the jointing sand when working the sealer repair fluid into the surface of the blocks.

Q: Fluid sealer purchased. Please advise how to use on patio which was sealed 2/3 days ago. White patches have appeared following overnight rain.

The whiteness should go after following these steps but sometimes a further application is neccessary to remove all the whiteness present.
Q: How long does it need not to rain or get wet once you gave used the repair fluid ?
A: To be in the safe side it is probably best to use the sealer repair fluid when no rain is forecast for 8-12 hours after use.
Q: Hi Our driveway and patio. Is 11 years old. We seal it every three years . Last year we gave it two coats of sealer. It had some blooming in parts , but it was pretty good . Today we jet washed it ready for summer. After it had dried I noticed lots of white patches , especially on the patio. Have I pressure washed it too vigorously? What can I do please ? Thank you
A: It sounds like you may have some moisture trapped within the sealer resulting in sufcae whiteness. I would suggest ordering a sample of the sealer repair fluid to test on a small area to see if this rectifies the issue.

Used this repairer to remove white marks that appeared after last sealer was applied. Followed that up with 2 coats of sealer and looks good to me. (Hopefully no more white marks will appear in the future)
