SMARTSEAL BRICK ACID CLEANER will easily remove any cement & mortar residues that may be left after building work has been undertaken. The concentrated brick cleaner can clean most types of acid-resistant surfaces, both internally and externally. Furthermore, the powerful brickwork cleaner will quickly dissolve and remove most types of lingering surface residues such as mortar and cement deposits, efflorescence, ingrained dirt and grime, as well as light calcium & limescale deposits.

It can be applied neat for heavy surface contamination or diluted up to 1:5 depending on the severity of the residues that are present.
- Not suitable for acid sensitive surfaces such as enamel, zinc, chrome, stainless steel, polished marble and limestone, lacquers, etc.
- Coverage 10m² to 40m² per litre. Coverage will vary depending on the kind and stubbornness of the deposits.
- Only suitable for acid-resistant surfaces such as ceramic tiles, porcelain, brick, clay and quarry tiles, terracotta, concrete and many types of natural stones.
- Removes cement & mortar residues from brickwork and masonry.
- Can be applied neat or dilutes up to 1:5 with clean water. Dilution rate will be dependent on the extent of the contamination.
- Can be used internally and externally.
- Powerful, fast-working formula dissolves and removes surface dirt, grime and other residues such as light calcium and limescale deposits.
Q: We had our conservatory roof replaced with a solid roof that is higher than the original. We have bare brick in our conservatory but there are marks on the brickwork from the old roof and some light paint/adhesive marks. Would brick acid be ok to use and is it likely to remove the marks?
A: You could try the brick acid, as long as it is rinsed off 10 mins after application, it will not damage the bricks or the pointing.
Q: Do you recommed this product to remove moss from a tarmacadem tennis court, if so would it remove the colour { green and red ]
A: The Brick Acid Cleaner could harm the Tarmac. We would recommend one of our Green Clear products to get rid of Green Growth as it will cause no harm or discolouration to the surface.
Q: Will this remove litchen moss and black spots from deeply engrained very old Cotswold (4O years+)stone as we’ve tried your moss and patio cleaners with limited success, if we seal after
A: This product would not be recommended for patio cleaning, it could remove colour from the paving slabs and weaken the pointing if left on too long. Used as per our 'how to' video Patio Clean Xtreme will remove the patio black spot, but it might need a couple of applications if the contamination is severe. Hope that helps, Nigel@Smartseal
